The heart of Chile, the Central Valley, is a land of major industrial cities, such as Santiago, Valparaíso and also Concepción (a litle bit further south), and large fruit and vegetable fams.

The Central Valley is also rich in minerals.

SOUTH

District. It is an area of deep blue lakes, clear mountain streams, pine forests, and snow-topped mountains.The southern third of Chile is a sparselypopulated archipelago of thick forested islands, glacier-covered mountains, and deep fjords.
