When we recycle, our actions have a direct positive impact on Earth. Many of the things we throw away can be saved, and we can give them a new use.

We do this to preserve natural resources, for example water, which can be polluted by plastics and toxic substance. We also recycle to reduce pollution. Instead of creating new products and polluting the environment in the process, we can reuse old ones while they fulfil their purpose.

By recycling, we reduce greenhouse gases that increase global warming. Global warming causes serious weather problems which affect people and the Earth.

There are many things we can recycle, for example plastic, paper, metal and clothes,among other things. If you want to start helping the planet and recycle, don't get rid of things you no longer use, because maybe it can be used for other purposes.
