1. Identifico la estructura: ambas niñas usan past simple de verbos irregulares y regulares.
2. Girl 1: On Saturday, I went to the shops and bought a fantasy book! → verbos go → went, buy → bought.
3. Girl 2: On Sunday, I met my cousin Fernando and we ran in the park! → verbos meet → met, run → ran.
4. Practico en voz alta marcando la entonación exclamativa y luego intercambio roles con un compañero.

Look and write about Mary's weekend. (Observa y escribe sobre el fin de semana de Mary.)

1. Observo las tres imágenes: (a) Mary con su amiga Sofía en el cine comiendo palomitas, (b) unos binoculares, (c) Mary leyendo un libro en la biblioteca.
2. La frase inicial ya está dada: Last weekend, I met my friend Sofia.
3. Completo la segunda línea con el lugar: We went to the cinema.
4. Describo la primera imagen en pasado: We watched a funny film and ate popcorn.
5. Describo la segunda imagen: I bought a pair of binoculars at the shop.
6. Describo la tercera imagen: On Sunday, I went to the library and read a book about animals.
7. Cierro con una opinión: It was a great weekend!
