Say: What's the fastest animal in the world?
- Identifico la pregunta: ¿Cuál es el animal más rápido del mundo?
- Recuerdo que el animal terrestre más rápido es el guepardo, pero en el aire el halcón peregrino es más rápido.
- Respondo con una oración completa en inglés.
The fastest animal in the world is the peregrine falcon. It can fly at more than 300 km/h. (El guepardo es el animal terrestre más rápido, con unos 110 km/h).
Say: What's the biggest land animal in the world?
- Identifico la pregunta: ¿Cuál es el animal terrestre más grande del mundo?
- Recuerdo que el elefante africano es el animal terrestre más grande.
- Respondo con una oración completa.
The biggest land animal in the world is the African elephant. It can weigh up to 6,000 kg.
Say: Name the whales you know.
- Identifico la tarea: nombrar ballenas que conozco.
- Recuerdo tipos de ballenas: blue whale, humpback whale, sperm whale, killer whale (orca), gray whale.
- Nombro al menos tres.
I know the blue whale, the humpback whale, the sperm whale, the killer whale and the gray whale.
Say: What's the smallest bird in the world?
- Identifico la pregunta: ¿Cuál es el ave más pequeña del mundo?
- Recuerdo que el colibrí zunzuncito (bee hummingbird) es el ave más pequeña.
- Respondo con una oración completa.
The smallest bird in the world is the bee hummingbird. It is about 5 cm long.
Say two characteristics.
- Identifico la tarea: decir dos características de un animal (el que muestra la imagen: canguro).
- Pienso en características del canguro: tiene bolsa (marsupial), salta, vive en Australia, tiene patas traseras fuertes.
- Digo dos características en inglés.
Kangaroos have a pouch to carry their babies. They can jump very high and live in Australia.
Spell.
- Identifico la tarea: deletrear palabras de animales (las imágenes muestran león, elefante, canguro, antílope, ballena).
- Deletreo en inglés, letra por letra.
