This is an essay. It is usually used to explain an idea or point of view, with research and substantial arguments.It uses formal language and it is usually written in an impersonal tone. Avoid using the fi rst person singular or plural to write an essay. Essays are used in academia to put forth a particular thesis. Use the following template to write an essay.

Introduction: The first paragraph is generally the introduction. The fi rst line usually includes the thesis statement, which means, the idea you want to defend or talk about for the rest of the essay. The final lines usually say how you are going to prove that your idea is correct.\mathrm{Or}_{r} what your essay will be distributed.

Body: This is where you talk about your idea and add the arguments and research you did to prove your point.

Conclusion: The conclusion always recalls the main idea of the text, summarizes the essay in short sentences and, finally, makes a projection. This means that you say why your essay could be helpful for others in the future.
