Ejercicio 1

In pairs, think of a typical unhealthy food in your city or country and write a recipe to make it healthy. Use: first – second – next – finally.

Respuesta orientativa (receta):

Healthy version of "completo italiano" (Chilean hot dog)

First, choose a whole wheat bun instead of white bread. Second, cook a low-fat turkey sausage or a grilled chicken breast and place it in the bun. Next, add fresh chopped tomatoes, mashed avocado (without mayonnaise) and a little salt. Finally, serve it with a small portion of baked potatoes instead of french fries.

2
Ejercicio 2

Present your recipe to your classmates and say why it is healthy and when people should eat it.

Respuesta orientativa:

This recipe is healthy because it uses whole grains, lean protein and fresh vegetables, and it has less fat and sodium than the traditional version. People should eat it for lunch or dinner, not as a daily snack, because it is a complete meal.
