Errores frecuentes

Un error común es el uso de some en oraciones negativas, especialmente con uncountable nouns, e.g. There isn't some milk. Se sugiere que clarifique el uso correcto de some antes de comenzar las actividades de la página. Puede especificar: The general rule is that any is used for questions and negatives while some is used for positive.

Otro error frecuente tiene que ver con aquellos sustantivos que en inglés son uncountable, pero que en español son contables. Para evitar esta confusión se sugiere que clarifique: Nouns can be countable or uncountable. Countable nouns can be counted, e.g. an apple, two apples, three apples, etc. Uncountable nouns cannot be counted, e.g. air, rice,

water, etc. When you learn a new noun, you should check if it is countable or uncountable and note how it is used in a sentence.
