The Ant and the grasshopper

The ant replied, "I'm storing food for the winter season. I think you have to work just like me for the same reason. The grasshopper laughed,

"All you ants do is work. Just look around,

there's a lot of food. Don't tell me what to do"

Time passed and the ant kept working and the grasshopper kept playing. Winter came. The ant was ready for the winter and had a lot of food but the grasshopper couldn't find any food and soon became very hungry. That was when he remembered the hard-working ant. The grasshopper went to visit the ant and asked her to give him some food.

The ant, who was still busy working, said "I can only give you a little food now but I can't feed you the whole winter" The grasshopper had a cold and difficult winter.

And that was how the grasshopper learned to work hard and plan the future. That next winter, the grasshopper was well fed and happy!
