Ejercicio 2

Discuss with your group how you could improve on the things you didn't do well. Take notes on your ideas here.

  1. Identificar los criterios no marcados en la tabla (por ejemplo, "Volume, tone and eye contact").
  2. Proponer una acción concreta de mejora para cada uno.
  3. Redactar las notas en inglés, en primera persona plural.

Respuesta orientativa: We need to speak louder and look at the audience. We can practice our presentation twice before the final version. Also, we should divide the tasks more clearly so everyone participates.

3
Ejercicio 3

Share your ideas with a different group. How are your ideas similar or different?

  1. Comparar las notas propias con las de otro grupo.
  2. Usar conectores de comparación: both, also, however, whereas.
  3. Escribir dos similitudes y dos diferencias.

Respuesta orientativa: Both groups think pronunciation is important. We also agree that images help the audience. However, the other group focuses on body language, whereas we focus on vocabulary. They practice with a script; we prefer to improvise.

  1. Identificar la estructura comparativa de igualdad: as + adjetivo + as.
  2. Analizar la afirmación: el tiempo libre reduce el estrés y mejora la salud mental.
  3. Escribir argumentos a favor y en contra.

Respuesta orientativa: I agree. Free time helps us relax and reduce stress, and mental health is as important as physical health. However, too much free time without activity can be unhealthy. The best option is a balance between leisure and exercise.
