1. In pairs, look at the pictures and discuss the questions that follow.

a. Would you invite a foreign friend sightseeing in Chile?

c. What places would you recommend him/her to visit?d.Why?

2. Your foreign friend decides to come to Chile because he was impressed by the pictures of the different landscapes from the north to the south. Choose one of the places above and create a travel itinerary for him/her.

3.After your friend has visited one of the destinations above, you'll receive a postcard. Work in pairs and one member plays the role of the visitor and the other one plays the role of the local. The visitor will write the postcard about his/her trip and the local will reply with a postcard from his/her own city/town.

Propósito y recomendaciones

El propósito de esta sección consiste en revisar a través de actividades integrales el avance y comprensión de los alumnos sobre lo visto en esta unidad. Esta sección hará que los estudiantes desarrollen sus habilidades de reading y speaking a través de actividades de comprensión lectora y discusión.

Durante el desarrollo de las actividades, puede preguntar a los estudiantes si hay contenidos que no están claros aún: Do you have any doubts about the unit's contents? Now it is the time to review everything that might be unclear or confusing for you.

Ambientes de aprendizaje

Recuerde que después de hacer actividades grupales o en pareja se sugiere que tengan una discusión como clase en que los estudiantes compartan lo discutido en sus grupos. Esto permite que los estudiantes practiquen su pensamiento crítico al opinar sobre lo discutido en otros grupos y le permite a usted como docente el tener una oportunidad de identificar y corregir en conjunto con la clase los errores frecuentes.
