Their history transcended the Spanish arrival in Chile in the XVI century. That is why their influence and legacy are so important in our society until today.

Errores frecuentes

En la actividad 1.c, el uso de superlatives podría seguir generando confusiones, especialmente ante la tendencia de algunos estudiantes de añadir la palabra most cuando no es necesario, por ejemplo: Easter Island is the most smallest. Del mismo modo, a veces les es dificil identificar cuando a un adjetivo se le debe anteponer most y cuando llevan el sufijo —est, produciendo oraciones tales como: She is the most smart student. Para evitar estos errores, profundice con ejemplos y ejercicios, dando foco a que el uso de most depende de la cantidad de silabas de la palabra.Remember that we use the word most before long adjectives, with two or more syllables, for example: beautiful/most beautiful, handsome/most handsome,smart/smartest.

We are organizing a walking tour in the south of Chiloé this summer.Last year, we organized one toTorres del Paine and it was a success.

We covered 50 kilometres through the national park in 10 days. It was hard work and sometimes tough,but exciting.

We were often wet, cold and tired,but the scenery we saw along the walk was gorgeous."It was worth every centimeter of it", one of the girls told us.

This summer, we are planning to go to the south of Coyhaique, down to Chile Chico. So, if you are young and fit and enjoy visiting beautiful places-join us!
