Puede iniciar la clase pidiendo a los estudiantes que corrijan los errores en las siguientes predicciones:

• In the future we going to have flying cars. El error en este caso es que falta el verbo to be, (missing the verb to be).

• We will having cleaning robots in our homes. El error está en el uso de will junto a un verbo en gerundio (use of ing).

We are going learn in virtual classes instead of school.El error se encuentra en la falta de la preposición luego de going (missing to). Para evitar que estos errores continúen ocurriendo,explique la estructura de "going to":When making predictions using "going to" the verb to be is always needed before. Also, remember the expression is "going to", so don't forget to use the preposition "to". When making predictions using "will", the following verb is used in its base form.

Ritmos y estilos de aprendizaje

Para clases con estudiantes con habilidades más desarrolladas, se puede pedir que, además de preparar las predicciones y el spider plan, preparen una“entrevista"donde un alumno del grupo sea el entrevistador y otro alumno un científico hablando sobre el futuro del mundo. De esta forma, los alumnos deben preparar no sólo las predicciones sino también preguntas sobre el futuro. Para esta actividad, déla siguiente instrucción: With a partner,write and role play an interview. One student will be the interviewer and the other will be a scientist talking about the worlds future. The interviewer has to ask questions about how the future of the world will be and the scientist has to make predictions about it.

Propósito y recomendaciones

En esta sección se espera que los alumnos sean capaces de aplicar lo aprendido en la lección, usando vocabulario sobre tecnología y las estructuras vistas para hacer predicciones. Se espera que sean capaces de aplicar este conocimiento para crear y luego clasificar a través de un mapa conceptual distintas predicciones sobre el futuro.
