Dear Diary.

Today is the worst day of my life!

I hate fighting I hate fighting with my friends even more!I had to tell my friend to stop bothering me about her brother because she asks me every single day!I hate it because I'm her friend and she doesn't want to understand.

The worst thing is that tomorrow is the test and I haven't studied! I'm very lucky to have Karla because she is at my house right now to help me study for the test. But I'm terrified! I regret not studying before, I made a terrible mistake and now I'm scared for tomorrow.

Friday. April 10th.

Dear Diary.

The math test was not that bad! I was so afraid but studying helped. I learned a valuable lesson this week:always study many days before a test!

After the test, something better happened. Paulina talked to me and she said that she was sorry. She told me that she feels bad for insisting so much and that she wants to be friends with me again. I know that she was really annoying this week, but I love her and she's one ofmy best friends. Now everything is cool again and we are back to being friends! I'm so happy!!

Para profundizar en el aprendizaje relacionado con el vocabulario de opiniones y sentimientos, puede pedir a los estudiantes que lo pongan en práctica a través de la escritura de una entrada de diario de vida, en el que relaten un día de la semana en curso y hablen de cómo se sintieron a partir de diversas situaciones. Para aquellos estudiantes que son más tímidos y no quieren exponer sus vidas personales, puede sugerirles que escriban el diario poniéndose en el lugar de uno de sus personajes favoritos de tv, películas, libros o cómics. Para esta actividad, dé la siguiente instrucción: Write a diary entry. Describe your feelings about the situations faced in one day of this week. If you don't want to write about yourself, you can write as if you were your favorite character from T.V, movies, books or comics.

Errores frecuentes

Un error frecuente se da en la manera de leer las fechas, específicamente en el orden de los componentes, ya que se genera una interferencia de la lengua materna, ya que en inglés se pronuncia primero el día, luego el mes y el número del día al final, en cambio en español es día, número y mes. Recuerde a los estudiantes que en inglés el orden es diferente: In English, dates are said in a different order than Spanish. In English the order is day, month and number of the day, while in Spanish the order is day, number of the day and month. Remember to say the correct order while talking about a date.

Recuerde a los estudiantes que en inglés norteamericano dicen primero el mes, luego el día y finalmente el año.Ej: 12/01/2020 sería el primero de diciembre y no el l2 de enero. En inglés británico la fecha se dice día/mes/año al igual que en Chile.
