Plan your designs

In your groups, sketch and describe your ideas.Check each other's work, and change and improve your designs.

When you are happy with the designs, make notes describing them.

If you have the clothes you need for your favorite style, bring them to the next class.

Prepare your style presentation

In your groups, put together your drafts and copy them onto a sheet of poster paper. Write the report questions and make sure the layout is logical and easy to read.

Ensure that the results are presented correctly and easy to follow.

Preguntas de profundización

Para las actividades como esta, donde los estudiantes deberán hacer y a la vez responder preguntas, siempre es útil pedirles a los alumnos que se cuestionen como grupo:

• What type of questions will my classmates ask?

• How can I answer them?

De esta forma, podrán anticiparse a las preguntas que harán sus compañeros y preparar respuestas que resuelvan todas las dudas.

Ambientes de aprendizaje

Si los alumnos van a presentar frente a la clase sus estilos, entonces vale la pena que deje un tiempo para asesorar a los alumnos con su presentación. Durante la clase, mientras todos preparan sus presentaciones, vaya llamando a los grupos y evalúe su estado. Asesore a los alumnos, señale oraciones con errores y permítales corregir sus propios errores: Before presenting your style,correct the mistakes you might have and that I pointed out, that way the information you share will be delivered in a clear way.

La presentación final de esta actividad puede variar, dependiendo de los intereses y habilidades de los estudiantes.Puede darle a los grupos la libertad de elegir cómo presentarán sobre su estilo favorito o el que inventaron. Algunas opciones pueden ser un desfile de modas o un panel de conversación como un programa de televisión. Para esto,explique a los estudiantes lo siguente:The final step of the task consists of a presentation, however, you may choose other options to share your work. You can either have a fashion show in which you walk on the runway and describe the looks. Other option is to recreate a T.V show in which you discuss a style.
