Propósito y recomendaciones

El objetivo de esta sección es que los alumnos desarrollen habilidades de discusión y potencien su creatividad a través de la creación y confección de una bolsa ecológica. Los estudiantes podrán aplicar su conocimiento sobre el cuidado del medio ambiente durante el desarrollo de la actividad, además de desarrollar habilidades de trabajo en equipo. Finalmente, los alumnos deben exponer su bolsa creada frente a la clase. Fomente un ambiente de respeto durante las presentaciones, dando la siguiente instrucción: When you finish your ecological handbag, share it with the class, explaining its parts. While your classmates are presenting, listen carefully and respectfully to learn about a new topic.

Preguntas de profundización

Para actividades como esta, en las que al final de la presentación los estudiantes formularán y responderán preguntas, siempre es útil pedirles que se anticipen a la situación y se pregunten a sí mismos:

• What type of questions will my classmates ask?

• How can I answer them?

De esta forma, los alumnos pueden anticiparse a las preguntas y preparar respuestas.

Ambientes de aprendizaje

Si los alumnos van a presentar frente a la clase sus bolsas, entonces vale la pena que deje un tiempo para asesorar a los alumnos con su presentación. Durante la clase, mientras todos preparan sus bolsas, vaya llamando a los grupos y evalúe cómo está su presentación.Asesore a los alumnos, señale oraciones con errores y permítales corregir sus propios errores: Before presenting your ecological handbag, correct the mistakes you might have and that I pointed out. In that way the information you share will be delivered in a clear way.
