English: The project asks you to explore how adults perceive the internet and social media as tools to discover other cultures. The final product is a lapbook about an artistic or cultural manifestation from an English-speaking country that is currently relevant on social media.

Paso 2: Identification — context / Identificación — contexto

The page explains that Mexico has great linguistic diversity (Zapoteco, Mixe, Chontal, Mazateco, Mixteco, among others). The way we perceive Indigenous languages should not differ from how we perceive languages from other countries. English is increasingly present and is part of the interculturalism that enriches the country.

La página explica que México tiene gran diversidad lingüística (zapoteco, mixe, chontal, mazateco, mixteco, entre otros). La forma en que percibimos las lenguas indígenas no debe ser distinta de cómo percibimos las lenguas de otros países. El inglés está cada vez más presente y forma parte de la interculturalidad que enriquece al país.

Respuesta orientativa: Para completar la tabla conviene elegir una manifestación cultural o artística de un país angloparlante (por ejemplo, el street art o muralismo de EE. UU., el K-pop en inglés global, el teatro de Broadway, el cine de Hollywood, la música country, el spoken word británico). Luego se registra: nombre de la manifestación, país de origen, red social donde es tendencia, por qué es relevante y cómo la perciben los adultos que conozcas.

Respuesta orientativa (English): Choose an artistic or cultural manifestation from an English-speaking country (e.g., US street art, Broadway theatre, Hollywood cinema, British spoken word). Then record: name, country of origin, social media platform where it trends, why it is relevant, and how the adults you interview perceive it.
