Un error frecuente se da en la manera de leer las fechas, específicamente en la pronunciación de los años, ya que se genera una interferencia de la lengua materna, debido a que en inglés las cifras de años se suelen decir nombrando millares, centenas, decenas y unidades.Recuerde a los estudiantes que en la mayoría de los casos se leen de a dos dígitos: In English, years are read with two digits at a time, for example 1992is read "nineteen ninety-two", 1966 is "read nineteen sixty-six". Year 2000 is an exception, because it is read "two thousand".
