How do you plan a trip? There are lots of things to consider when traveling abroad.and a number of steps to follow.

Where do you want to go? Choosing a location is the first and probably most important stage! Make a list of places you want to visit.

How much money will you need? Plan your budget:flights,accommodation.food... Can you afford it?

What do you have to take with you? If you are going on a long trip, it is best to travel lightonly take the essentials. What is the weather like there?

What clothes wil you need? Don't forget your documents!

When are you going? Remember to record all dates for each stage of your trip and make sure other people know about them! What transportation will you use?

2. Work in pairs. Read the text again and say the items that are mentioned below,out loud.

3. Plan your next vacation using the tips from the text. Draw the following table in your notebook and complete it with your own itinerary.

Explique el concepto de cognados y cómo puede serles útil a veces: a cognate is a word that sounds similar in English and Spanish and has the same meaning in both languages. Sometimes you can guess the meaning of a word for its similarity in Spanish. Posterior a esto, explique que también existen los falsos cognados,palabras que suenan similar en ambos idiomas pero significan algo distinto:However, be careful because there are false cognates, too. For example, in English, the word "library"means "the place where you can borrow books",but in Spanish there is a similar word which means "place where you can buy books".
