BUILDING AND/OR PROVING Organizing the Activities

In assembly, read the following questions about what you need to develop your own catalog of instruments, tools, and machines. With the help of your teacher, draw and fill in a table like the following:

Creativity at Work

In communities, arrange a visit to a health center or clinic. Gather the information required to fill the table, as well as to conduct the interviews.
Find out where health services are provided in your community:

a) Hospitals

b) Health centers

c) Medical office (dental, optical, hearing, podiatry, among others)

d) Clinical laboratories

e) Dispensaries

Visit some of these facilities and request an appointment for an interview.
Read the following tips to conduct the interviews:

a) Make sure you follow the script to optimize the time invested.

b) Whenever possible, ask for permission to take some photographs of any instruments,machines, and tools available.
