- Wood: hard material from trees, used for furniture and paper.
- Trash: waste material that people throw away.
- Recycle: to process used materials so they can be used again.
- Batteries: devices that store energy; they contain chemicals and must be disposed of specially.
- Organic garden: a garden grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers.
