Check this:

• They are feeling happy and curious.
• They are taking pictures.

This shows they are doing something at the moment of speaking.

Simple Present

We use the simple present when we talk about things that happen regularly or all the time. It's like a habit.

For example: "I play with my toys every day." This means playing with toys is something you do regularly.

Present Continuous

We use the present continuous when we talk about things happening right now or around now. It's like a snapshot of what's going on.

For example: "I am playing with my toys." This means you are playing with your toys at this very moment.

I _____ (like) to eat ice cream.

1. Simple present, 1ra persona singular → 'like' (sin -s).

She _____ (read) a book every night.

1. 3ra persona singular → añadir -s.

He _____ (play) with his toys right now.

1. 'right now' → present continuous: is + verbo-ing.

They _____ (run) in the park at the moment.

1. 'at the moment' → are + running (doble n).

My dog always _____ (bark) loudly.

1. 'always' → hábito → simple present, 3ra persona → barks.

Look! The birds _____ (sing) in the trees.

1. 'Look!' indica acción ahora → present continuous: are singing.

Cats _____ (sleep) a lot during the day.

1. Hábito general de los gatos → simple present, plural → sleep.

We _____ (go) to school from Monday to Friday.

1. Hábito semanal → simple present → go (1ra/2da/3ra persona plural).

1. 'today' + acción en proceso → present continuous: am drawing.
